Nahum is a short 3-chapter book that pronounces judgment against Nineveh and the Assyrians. It comes about 100 to 150 years after Jonah. The Assyrians' time of mercy had run out, and God’s wrath would be poured out against them. This should cause us to be serious about making sure our allegiance is to His kingdom fully and to remember the real enemy.
