The writer of Hebrews encourages his audience and us of the superiority of Christ for keeping the Promises of God. In our text, he leans on Abraham and the patriarchs as a model for walking faithfully after future promises of the Lord. We likewise are to wait on the Lord and hold fast to His continued faithfulness.
