Peter, after writing about our living hope and the call to be Holy, instructs believers to pursue this call by living as a spiritual house or royal priesthood. This requires continuing to grow in salvation as we offer acceptable sacrifices with our lives that glorify God. The Church must remember she is not waiting to get her ticket punched to gain the Kingdom of God, but that we are the Kingdom of God on earth.
